I am the International Trade Lawyer at FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations. FIATA is the global voice of freight forwarding and logistics, representing collectively around 40,000 freight forwarders around the world. At FIATA, I am responsible for legal matters across the work of the Federation, including the FIATA Digital Strategy work. In addition, I look after the Federation’s policy work across the various modes of transport (air, maritime, rail, road) as well as on trade facilitation and customs.
Prior to working at FIATA, I was working in the commodity trading and shipping sector for the Swiss industry association, with a particular focus on trade finance, financial markets, and innovation. I also worked in regulatory affairs for the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, ensuring the delivery of a global strategic initiative to optimise and align the work of 50+ offices worldwide through the use of technology.
